Biography

Dr. Qi Long is a professor in the Department of Biostatistics, Epidemiology, and Informatics at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania. He serves as the Associate Director of the Penn Institute for Biomedical Informatics and the founding Director of the Center for Cancer Data Science. His research expertise includes directing statistical data coordinating centers for national research networks and large-scale multi-site clinical studies. Currently, he co-directs the Coordinating Center for the Premedical Cancer Immunotherapy Network for Canine Trials (PRECINCT), which is part of the NCI’s Cancer Moonshot Initiative. He has extensive experience in supervising a team of database administrators, programmers, application developers, and statistical analysts.
