Qianbing Zhang is an Associate Professor specializing in Geomechanics and Tunnelling Engineering at Monash University. Dr. Zhang serves as Associate Editor and Editor-in-Chief for the Elsevier Journal Tunnelling Underground Space Technology. In addition to his academic work, he is actively involved in community service and contributes as a committee member for Standards Australia. He has received prestigious fellowships and awards from the Australian Research Council. His research interests include Geomechanics, Rock Mechanics, Optical Measurement Techniques, Mining, and Fracture Mechanics.
