Biography

Dr. Qianqian Wang is an ophthalmologist specializing in medical and surgical glaucoma as well as complex cataract surgeries at CHUM. She is also an associate clinical professor at the Université de Montréal. After obtaining her Doctor of Medicine degree from McGill University, Dr. Wang pursued her ophthalmology training at Université de Montréal. Her passion for glaucoma developed early in her career and led her to pursue a subspecialization in glaucoma at the renowned Wills Eye Hospital in Philadelphia, where many leaders in the field were trained. Upon her return to Montreal, she also completed a fellowship in research on neuritogenesis at Dr. Adriana Di Polo's laboratory at the CHUM Research Centre. Dr. Wang is the author of numerous scientific articles and regularly presents at national and international conferences.
