Biography

Qing Hao is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Neurology at Duke University. She is a Staff Neurologist at Duke University Medical Center and is board certified in Psychiatry and Neurology with a specialization in Vascular Neurology. Before joining Duke University in 2025, she was part of the faculty at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. Her clinical practice focuses on vascular neurology and cerebrovascular diseases in various settings, including emergency, inpatient, outpatient, and telemedicine. Dr. Hao's research interests include cerebral atherosclerotic disease, which is a major cause of ischemic stroke globally. She is involved in exploring biomarkers to evaluate and monitor intracranial atherosclerosis and optimizing management strategies to improve patient outcomes. Dr. Hao has published over 40 peer-reviewed articles in her field.
