Dr. Qingjin Peng

Biography

Qingjin Peng is a Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Manitoba. He holds a PhD in Mechanical Manufacturing Engineering from the University of Birmingham and has a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in the same field from Xi'an Jiaotong University. His research interests encompass product design and manufacturing with a focus on digital manufacturing, design methods, product assembly and disassembly planning, system modeling and simulation, computer-aided design and manufacturing systems, and virtual reality applications in engineering. He is involved in various graduate student opportunities, providing mentorship and guidance to emerging engineers in the field. His extensive background and expertise position him as a valuable contributor to advancements in mechanical engineering and related disciplines at the University of Manitoba.
