Biography

Dr. Qingxu "Bill" Jin is currently an Assistant Professor at Michigan State University (MSU) in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering. He serves as the principal investigator for the Resilient, Intelligent, Sustainable & Energy-efficient (RISE) Infrastructure Materials Lab at MSU. Dr. Jin earned his Ph.D. in Civil and Environmental Engineering with a minor in Materials Science from the Georgia Institute of Technology. He has also obtained two Master's degrees, one in Civil and Environmental Engineering and another in Natural Resources and Environmental Science, both from the University of Michigan. Dr. Jin's research focuses on the development of innovative materials and techniques for sustainable infrastructure solutions, emphasizing resilience and energy efficiency.
