Biography

Qinwen Fan is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Electronic Components, Technology and Materials at Delft University of Technology. He received his B.Sc. degree in Electronic Science and Technology from Nankai University, China, in 2006 and completed his M.Sc. with honors in Microelectronics at Delft University of Technology in 2008. He continued his academic journey as a PhD candidate at Delft University of Technology, earning his doctorate in 2013. Following his PhD, Fan worked at Maxim Integrated Products from 2012 to 2015 and at Mellanox Technologies until early 2017, after which he rejoined Delft University of Technology. His research interests are focused on high-performance class D audio amplifiers, smart power inverters, wide bandgap semiconductors, low-power DC-DC converters, and energy harvesters, particularly in the context of IoT nodes. He has published over twenty scientific papers in top-tier journals and conferences and holds multiple patents in collaboration with industrial partners. Fan serves as an associate editor for the Open Journal of Solid-State Circuits Society and is a Technical Program Committee member for several international conferences.
