Biography

Qiujiang Levi Lu is a Chinese improviser, experimental vocalist, composer, and creative technologist known for his work with custom-built electronic instruments and intermedia pieces that explore human relationships and the phenomenology of sound. He is a half of the experimental electroacoustic duo Warp Duo. His performance compositions have been showcased at various prestigious festivals, conferences, and venues, including the HighZero Festival, New York City Electroacoustic Music Festival, IRCAM Forum, SEAMUS conference, NIME conference, and NowNet Arts conference in locations such as the DiMenna Center, Spencer Museum of Art, Oberlin MMG, Redroom, and Rhizome DC. Lu holds a Master of Music degree in Computer Music from the Peabody Institute and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Music from Stony Brook University.
