Feng Qiushi received his doctoral degree from Duke University and is currently an Associate Professor in the Department of Sociology and Anthropology at the National University of Singapore (NUS). He serves as the Deputy Head of the department and as the Assistant Dean of the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences (FASS) at NUS. Additionally, he is the Vice President of the Population Association Singapore (PAS). He holds editorial positions in various prestigious international journals, serving as Co-Editor of Current Sociology, Associate Editor of Asian Population Studies, and Deputy Editor of the International Journal of Population Studies. Feng also contributes to the editorial boards of other notable journals and is actively involved in book editing, particularly in the Springer book series on Advances in the Studies of Aging and Health with Danan Gu and Asian Population Studies with Aris Ananta. His research has been supported by several organizations including the United Nations Population Fund (UNPF) and the National Medical Research Council (NMRC). Currently, he is the principal investigator of multiple MOE Tier-2 projects focusing on social determinants of health and household living arrangements in ASEAN countries.
