Biography

Dr. Quan Dong Nguyen, a professor of Ophthalmology at the Byers Eye Institute, Stanford University School of Medicine, focuses on innovative research to develop new therapies and diagnostic imaging technologies for retinal vascular and ocular inflammatory disorders, including diabetic retinopathy and age-related macular degeneration. Dr. Nguyen has contributed extensively to scientific literature, serving on the editorial boards of several journals and as the inaugural editor-in-chief of the American Journal of Ophthalmology Case Reports. In addition to his clinical commitments, he is dedicated to teaching and training the next generation of ophthalmologists and researchers.
