Quentin received his BSc in Geology from Ecole Nationale Supérieure de Géologie in France in 2009 and his MSc in Economic Geology from Luleå University of Technology in Sweden in 2011. He then moved to Western Australia and worked as an exploration geologist at BM Geological Services Pty Ltd, gaining experience at various locations including Carosue Dam for Saracen Gold Mines and Kambalda for St-Yves Goldfields. Quentin undertook an exciting PhD project at the University of Western Australia under the supervision of John Miller (CSIRO), Nicolas Thébaud (UWA-CET), and Stanislav Ulrich (AngloGold Ashanti), titled "4D Evolution of the Sadiola-Yatela Gold District, Kédougou-Kénieba Inlier, West Africa". His multidisciplinary study contributed to the larger West African Exploration Initiative (WAXI), documenting variations in gold mineralization influenced by an Eburnean tectono-thermal event. After completing his PhD in 2016, he continued as a postdoc at UWA working on collaborative research projects, including investigating the multiscale architecture of gold systems in the Paleoproterozoic domain. Currently, Quentin is involved in a project aimed at developing a "toolbox" to identify and target critical fluid pathways in selected gold-nickel camps in the Kalgoorlie Terrane.
