Dr. Rabih Younes

Biography

Rabih Younes is an Associate Professor of the Practice in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Duke University. He received his Master's degree from the Lebanese American University in 2013 and his Ph.D. from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University in 2018. His role at Duke includes undergraduate studies as an Associate Director alongside his teaching responsibilities. Dr. Younes has expertise in various areas of electrical and computer engineering and has taught several courses, including systems programming and advanced topics in electrical engineering. His research interests include real-time blind deblurring, wearable computing, and computer architecture. He has contributed to significant publications focusing on human activity recognition and innovative engineering education practices. Additionally, he is a faculty network member of the Duke Institute for Brain Sciences and actively engages in curriculum design and teaching methodologies that enhance student learning and reduce stress. Dr. Younes has also worked on projects that apply data analytics to improve educational outcomes, reflecting his dedication to both engineering and pedagogical innovation.
