Biography

Rachel Campbell is a Post-doctoral Research Associate at the Psycho-oncology Co-operative Research Group (PoCoG) based at the University of Sydney. Her research primarily focuses on identifying and improving the symptom burden and quality of life for individuals living with chronic diseases. Dr. Campbell has extensive experience in conducting both quantitative and qualitative research, as well as in developing and validating patient-reported outcome measures for use in clinical trials and clinical practice. As part of the MRFF-funded BRAINs program, her current research revolves around implementing routine screening for psychological distress and unmet needs of individuals affected by brain cancer, along with developing tailored supportive care interventions for this population.
