Biography

Professor Forrester-Jones’s research area encompasses the life course of people with intellectual disabilities and mental health issues, focusing on early transitions, death, and bereavement, with a primary emphasis on advancing social inclusion for vulnerable adults. Notable publications include a forthcoming handbook on research ethics in social sciences, and multiple contributions focusing on autism, social networks, and community care for people with intellectual disabilities.
