Biography

Dr. Rachel K. Hopper is a Clinical Professor in the Division of Pediatric Cardiology at Stanford University and serves as the Director of the Pediatric Pulmonary Vascular Disease Program in the Children’s Heart Center. Her clinical responsibilities focus on inpatient and outpatient care for children affected by pulmonary hypertension. She is a member of the Scientific Leadership Council of the Pulmonary Hypertension Association and is involved with several pediatric-focused professional organizations. Her research interests also include imaging biomarkers for pulmonary hypertension, clinical trials aimed at understanding the disease process, and improving treatment strategies for affected children.
