Biography

Radha Poovendran is a Professor in the Department of Electrical & Computer Engineering at the University of Washington, where he is the founding director of the Network Security Lab and a founding member and associate director of the university's Center of Excellence in Information Assurance Research. His research interests focus on network security and cyber security, highlighting his contributions as a principal investigator for various NSF collaborations, including leading the Visioning Workshop on Smart Connected Communities Research Education in 2016.
