Dr. Radley Sheldrick

Biography

Radley Sheldrick is an Adjunct Associate Professor at Boston University School of Public Health, specializing in Law, Policy & Management. He earned his PhD from Temple University, where he also received both his Master's and Bachelor's degrees. His research primarily focuses on improving clinical decision-making in child developmental behavioral health. Dr. Sheldrick has collaborated on the development of the Survey Wellbeing Young Children, a comprehensive screening tool designed for early identification of developmental issues in young children. His current research includes evaluating the effectiveness of different screening instruments within pediatrics and understanding how various systems can improve service delivery for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). He has received training in systems science and decision analysis, which informs his research methodologies. Presently, he leads multiple projects aimed at optimizing mental health care access and enhancing outcomes for children at risk of developmental delays. Dr. Sheldrick is also involved in substantial grant-funded work, collaborating with various institutions to fund and implement projects that address systemic health disparities in early ASD identification and treatment.
