Professor Dr. Rafael Taboryski

Biography

Rafael Taboryski is a Professor at the Technical University of Denmark (DTU), where he heads the nanofabrication research section at the National Centre for Nano Fabrication and Characterization (DTU Nanolab). He teaches at both BSc and MSc levels in physics and nanofabrication, and he is the Head of Studies for DTU's MSc program in Engineering Physics. Rafael graduated in physics from the University of Copenhagen, where he earned his PhD in 1992. His employment history includes a postdoctoral position at the University of Cambridge and roles as a Staff Scientist at Danish Fundamental Metrology and as Director of Consumables Technology at Sophion Bioscience A/S. Since joining DTU in 2008, he has developed expertise in nanofabrication techniques, including electron-beam lithography and wet and dry etching. He has authored several significant publications, contributing to various fields such as applied research in nanofabrication and optical metasurfaces.
