Professor Dr. Raimundo Saona Urmeneta

Biography

Raimundo Saona Urmeneta is a Visiting Fellow at the London School of Economics. His research focuses on applying mathematical tools and game theory to solve complex problems. He works extensively with both continuous and discrete models, developing efficient algorithms that prove theoretical existence theorems. His expertise extends to dynamic online and static offline settings, where he aims to provide new insights into situations involving uncertainty. Saona Urmeneta holds a PhD and has supervised work alongside renowned academics in the field, such as Krishnendu Chatterjee. He joined LSE in 2025, intending to contribute to the advancement of mathematics and its applications in game theory and computer science.
