Biography

Rajendra Bishnoi is an Assistant Professor in the Computer Engineering (CE) group at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Mathematics and Computer Science (EEMCS) at Delft University of Technology (TU-Delft). He received his Ph.D. degree in Computer Science from the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT), Germany in 2017. His current research focuses on neuromorphic computing using emerging technologies based on computation-in-memory architectures targeting edge healthcare applications. He has authored and co-authored 90 publications across major journals and conference proceedings, and holds seven pending/granted EU patents. His work experience includes positions as Research Group Leader and Research Assistant at KIT, and Design Engineer at Freescale Semiconductor (now NXP). He teaches various courses including Hardware Architecture and Machine Learning, and is actively involved in several academic committees and editorial roles. His research efforts aim to develop energy-efficient processor designs for healthcare applications, employ unique analog designs, and have been recognized with multiple academic awards.
