Biography

Rakesh Mishra is an Adjunct Professor in the Department of Geodesy and Geomatics Engineering at the University of New Brunswick, Fredericton. He holds a PhD in Geodesy and Geomatics Engineering from the University of New Brunswick, Canada. He has authored numerous research articles focusing on image fusion and object detection, and serves as a reviewer for prestigious scholarly journals in the fields of data fusion, object detection, and machine learning/deep learning. In addition to his academic pursuits, he is the Chief Technology Officer at SceneSharp Technologies Inc., where he leads a team of scientists and software engineers in developing innovative products that leverage machine learning and deep learning algorithms. Rakesh has also collaborated on various innovative research projects with notable institutions, including the Canadian Department of National Defence and the Indian Space Research Organization.
