Dr. Raktim Mondol

Biography

Raktim Kumar Mondol holds a PhD in Computer Science Engineering, specializing in computer vision, bioinformatics, multimodal analysis, and deep learning. His research focuses on histopathological image analysis, clinical prognosis prediction, and enhancing clinical understanding through interpretable computational models. He completed his MEng in Engineering with High Distinction from RMIT University, Australia, in 2019. Throughout his career, Raktim has been awarded prestigious scholarships, including the Research Training Program (RTP) Scholarship, which highlights his commitment to research and academic excellence. His work emphasizes the development of models that accurately forecast patient prognosis and survival rates by analyzing diverse clinical metrics and imaging data. He aims to personalize patient care and improve treatment strategies through computational techniques that provide interpretability in clinical settings. Raktim is dedicated to bridging the gap between complex technological solutions and real-world healthcare applications, striving to improve patient outcomes in the field of medical technology. In addition to his research, he teaches courses such as Neural Networks and Deep Learning, Computer Vision, and Artificial Intelligence, which reflect his research interests and aim to prepare students for challenges in academic and industry settings.
