Ralf Schirrmacher is a Professor in the Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry at the University of Alberta, specializing in Oncology. His current research interests include novel radiolabeling strategies for cancer imaging, receptor ligands for oncological and neurological imaging, and the development of nanoparticle PET platforms. He has collaborated with various radionuclides, including carbon-11 and fluorine-18, and welcomes undergraduate and graduate students with backgrounds in chemistry and pharmacology to inquire about research opportunities.
