Dr. Ram Nevatia

Biography

Ram Nevatia received his Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University in 1975. He is a Fletcher Jones Professor in the Ming Hsieh Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Southern California. His research interests primarily focus on computer vision, robotics, artificial intelligence, computer graphics, image processing, and pattern recognition. Over the years, he has contributed significantly to these fields, shaping the development of innovative technologies and methodologies. With decades of experience in academia and extensive publications, Nevatia is recognized for his expertise and contributions across various interdisciplinary research projects.
