Biography

Raman Verma is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Radiology at the University of Ottawa. He is actively involved in breast imaging interventions at the Women’s Breast Health Centre at the Ottawa Hospital and has a strong interest in resident teaching. He participates in providing Continuing Medical Education (CME) courses as well as the Annual Radiology Resident Review Course. His specialties include Breast and Body Imaging, focusing particularly on Breast MRI and body CT. Dr. Verma completed his residency at the University of Ottawa and a fellowship in Breast and Women’s Imaging at Northwestern Memorial Hospital, Northwestern University in Chicago, Illinois. His research interests are concentrated on tomosynthesis for breast cancer detection, breast MRI, breast ultrasound techniques, and elastography. Dr. Verma is dedicated to enhancing educational opportunities for medical students and residents, striving for excellence in clinical education and patient care.
