Biography

Rami Kamel completed his medical degree at Ain Shams University Faculty of Medicine in Cairo, Egypt. He finished research fellowships at Harvard Medical School and the University of Toronto, where he also completed his anesthesia residency training, earning a Fellowship from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada. Additionally, he completed a Pain Residency at McMaster University, obtaining the Royal College sub-specialist designation. Dr. Kamel is dedicated to teaching Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) courses as faculty in the Sunnybrook Advanced Life Support Program. He is currently pursuing the Clinician Educator Program at McMaster University. Furthermore, Dr. Kamel holds a staff appointment at Scarborough Health Network as an anesthesiologist and an academic appointment as an Assistant Clinical Professor (Adjunct) at McMaster University Faculty of Health Sciences. He is also a Visiting Assistant Professor at the Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine in Ohio.
