Biography

Ramy Elitzur received his Ph.D. from the Stern School of Business at New York University. He is a Professor of Accounting at the Rotman School of Management, University of Toronto. His research spans game theory and data analytics, with a particular focus on machine learning and artificial intelligence, as applied to sports, financial reporting, auditing, venture capital, crowdfunding, and entrepreneurship. His work has been published in leading journals, including Contemporary Accounting Research, Journal of Business Venturing, Entrepreneurship Theory and Practice, Auditing: Journal of Practice & Theory, Journal of Economic Behavior & Organization, and Journal of Accounting, Auditing & Finance. Elitzur is also engaged in teaching and providing industry projects, and he supervises PhD students.
