Biography

Randolph Pearson is a Professor in the Department of Family Medicine at Michigan State University (MSU) and serves as the Assistant Dean for Graduate Medical Education for the College of Human Medicine. He is the Senior Associate Director of the MSU/Sparrow Family Medicine Residency and a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians and the American College of Sports Medicine. Pearson received his MD from Wayne State University School of Medicine in 1981 and has completed the MSU Family Medicine Faculty Development Fellowship Program. He is board certified in Family Medicine with added qualifications in Sports Medicine. His career includes serving as a physician for the United States delegation at the 1999 World University Games in Mallorca, Spain, and as the medical director for the Michigan Breast Cancer Three-Day event. Pearson is actively involved in initiatives to advance the field of Family Medicine and works closely with residents in the MSU-CHM-sponsored fellowship programs.
