Randy Booth is an Assistant Professor and Academic Coordinator of Clinical Education in the Physical Therapy Program at Queen's University. He completed his Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Psychology/Health, followed by a Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy, both from Queen's University. In 2003, he obtained a Master's degree in Manipulative Therapy from Curtin University in Perth, Australia, and in 2012 earned a Doctorate of Physical Therapy focusing on Musculoskeletal Management from a United States institution. In 2019, he achieved his PhD at Queen's University. As a Fellow of the Canadian Academy of Manipulative Physiotherapy, Dr. Booth has a keen interest in clinical education, supporting students and clinicians through placement recruitment and supervision. He also works part-time as an advanced practice physiotherapist in a Rapid Access Clinic specializing in low back pain. His research interests focus on orthopedics, particularly in the areas of primary care and extended scopes of practice for physiotherapists.
