Biography

Ranjit 'Rolly' Singh Kali-Rai is an Associate Clinical Professor in the Department of Pharmacy Practice at the University of the Pacific. He earned his Doctor of Pharmacy from the University of the Pacific and an MBA from Saint Mary's College of California. He completed a pharmacy practice residency at the VA San Diego Health Care. With 25 years of experience as a health-systems pharmacist, he has held various leadership positions within the field. In 2018, he transitioned into academia, where he embraced the role of senior director for culture and belonging/ombuds at Pacific before joining the pharmacy practice faculty. His work is driven by a passion for diversity, equity, and inclusion, as he believes it uplifts the entire community and enhances the educational environment for students. His research interests focus on making medication use safer for everyone, emphasizing patient safety and efficient management practices. Rolly enjoys spending time with his son, reading, and caring for animals.
