Raphaël Giraud is an associate physician in Intensive Care at Hôpital Universitaire de Genève (HUG) and a Privat-Docent and Instructor at the University of Geneva. He holds FMH qualifications in both anesthesiology and intensive medicine. Since 2012, he has been responsible for the ECMO program at HUG, significantly contributing to the development of the program for organ donation following cardiac arrest with normothermic regional perfusion, which he pioneered in 2017.
