Biography

Raquel Gil-Cazorla has been a Lecturer in Optometry at Aston University since 2017, following a KTP Associate role there from 2013 to 2017. She was an Associate Lecturer at Complutense University of Madrid from 2002 to 2013. She obtained a PhD in Optometry from Complutense University of Madrid in 2012, an MSc in Clinical Optometry from Pennsylvania College of Optometry in 2009, an MSc in Optometry and Research from European University of Madrid in 2008, and a degree in Optics and Optometry from Complutense University in 1998. Her research focuses on contact lenses, the ocular surface, presbyopia treatment, intraocular lenses, cataract surgery and refractive surgery.
