Professor Dr. Rasaiah Winslow

Biography

Rasaiah Munidasa Winslow graduated from the National University of Singapore in 1984 and earned a Master of Medicine in Psychiatry in 1992. He has worked in general psychiatry and addiction medicine at the Institute of Mental Health since 1988, where he was instrumental in pioneering the development of addiction services for both hospital and community settings. He has served as the Chief of Addiction Medicine at the Institute of Mental Health and currently maintains a private practice focused on mental health and addictions consulting. Dr. Winslow is a recognized expert in addiction and impulse control disorders across the Asia-Pacific region, frequently speaking at conferences throughout the area. A fully qualified psychiatrist, he has further honed his therapy and counseling skills through certifications as a Master Addiction Counselor and Clinical Supervisor. Dr. Winslow is also actively involved in academia, contributing to the field through numerous publications and presentations on psychological and addiction issues while continuing his research interests via his academic appointments at the National University of Singapore. He is passionate about helping therapists develop and enhance their skills to facilitate real change for those seeking help.
