Dr. Ravi Srinivasan

Biography

Ravi Srinivasan is an Assistant Professor at the Stuart Weitzman School of Design, University of Pennsylvania. He specializes in Low and Net Zero Energy Buildings. With a Ph.D. in Architecture (Building Technology) from the University of Pennsylvania and an M.S. in Civil Engineering from the University of Florida, his academic trajectory includes a B.Architecture from the National Institute of Technology in India. He holds certifications as a Certified Energy Manager, LEED AP, and Green Globes Professional. Dr. Srinivasan's research centers on the development of Dynamic Sustainability Information Modeling (Dynamic-SIM), which involves creating an integrative three-dimensional building modeling and simulation visualization platform tailored for net zero campuses and cities. His expertise is frequently sought in academia as he contributes as a reviewer for MDes theses at Harvard University and serves as a guest lecturer for graduate students at his institution.
