Biography

Ravi Vaidyanathan holds the Chair in Biomechatronics at Imperial College London, UK, where he leads the Biomechatronics Laboratory. His recent work on Parkinson's Disease Dementia won awards for globally innovative research. Professor Vaidyanathan has been invited to present his research at prestigious venues including the Pentagon and 10 Downing Street. He has held previous academic positions at Case Western Reserve University, the University of Bristol, and the US Naval Postgraduate School, and currently holds honorary professorships in the USA and India. His research has led to the formation of 4 new companies and the introduction of 3 new commercial products in neurorobotics.
