Biography

Ray Dolan is the Mary Kinross Professor of Neuropsychiatry at University College London and the Director of the UCL-Max Planck Centre for Computational Psychiatry and Ageing. His research focuses on the neurobiology of emotion and decision-making, particularly how these processes can break down in neurological and psychiatric diseases. He has published over 750 peer-reviewed research papers and has received numerous international accolades, including the Alexander Von Humboldt Research Award, the Minerva Foundation Golden Brain Award, and the International Prize for Translational Neuroscience. Dolan was a Visiting Einstein Fellow at the Humboldt University in Berlin from 2010 to 2014 and has been recognized as a Fellow of the Academy of Medical Sciences and the Royal Society. He established the Centre for Computational Psychiatry at UCL in 2014, in collaboration with the Max Planck Society, and has contributed extensively to the field of neuroimaging and mental health research.
