Biography

Raymond holds a PhD in Entrepreneurship and an MSc in International Management from Loughborough University, UK. He also holds a bachelor's degree from China University of Political Science and Law, China. Before joining the University of Southampton, Raymond was a Senior Lecturer in Entrepreneurship at Portsmouth Business School, University of Portsmouth. His prior experience includes working as a project manager for the China-Africa Business Council, a non-profit organization, where he was involved in creating entrepreneurial projects aimed at poverty alleviation in Africa and conducting research on corporate social responsibility (CSR) and sustainability among Chinese SMEs. Raymond's research interests focus on social entrepreneurship, entrepreneurial opportunities, and social capital, with a special emphasis on collective collaborative agency in entrepreneurship intending to address grand challenges like sustainability.
