Biography

Raymond Jeanloz is a Professor of Earth and Planetary Sciences at the University of California, Berkeley. He chairs the National Academy of Sciences Committee on International Security and Arms Control and serves as a Distinguished Visiting Fellow at the Hoover Institution, Stanford University.
