Dr. Razel Milo

Biography

Razel Milo has over ten years of experience in academia, research, and hospital settings, specializing in family nursing and quality patient care. Her expertise extends to managing medical treatment plans for patients with chronic illnesses and improving patient satisfaction in acute primary care environments. She is well-versed in Healthcare Informatics and has extensive experience teaching online courses at the undergraduate and graduate levels. Dr. Milo is an Associate Professor at the University of San Diego’s Hahn School of Nursing and Health Science and teaches courses related to clinical health care informatics in DNP programs. Her current research interests are diabetes, obesity, palliative care, health care informatics, outcomes research in minority populations, and clinical simulation. She has been recognized with multiple honors, including the National Dean’s List and the National Scholars Honor Society Merit Scholarship, reflecting her commitment to excellence in nursing and education. Dr. Milo is an active member of several professional organizations, such as the Western Institute of Nursing, the Philippine Nurses Association, and the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, contributing her expertise as an abstract reviewer and poster judge for nursing conferences.
