Biography

Réal Carrière is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Political Science at the University of Manitoba, with a focus on Indigenous politics. He is of Nehinuw (Swampy Cree) and Métis descent from Cumberland House, Saskatchewan. His research centers around Nehinuwak political theories, Indigenous methodologies, and the representation of Indigenous peoples in political spheres.
