Biography

Réal Labelle specializes in the study, evaluation, and psychological treatment of suicidal behaviors, as well as the risk and protective factors among suicidal adolescents. He also researches mental disorders such as bipolar disorder, depression, and borderline personality disorder in adolescents exhibiting suicidal behaviors. Labelle developed a mobile application, PsyAssistance©, aimed at assisting depressed individuals undergoing a suicidal crisis. He is a co-founder of the Mood Disorders Clinic at Rivière-des-Prairies Hospital in Montreal.
