Biography

Rebecca Bain is an Adjunct Professor at Penn State Dickinson Law, specializing in Legal Writing. She has a J.D. from Penn State Law and a Bachelor's degree from Boston University in Philosophy and Political Science. Currently, she serves as an Assistant Public Defender at the Centre County Public Defender Office, where she represents indigent clients throughout various stages of the criminal process, including preliminary hearings and final dispositions. Her role includes serving as defense counsel representative in the Centre County Behavioral Health Court and previously in the Centre County DUI Court. Before her current position, Rebecca was a Law Clerk for the Honorable President Judge David W. Barron in the Court of Common Pleas of Mifflin County. At Penn State Law, she was the co-managing editor of the Penn State Law Arbitration Law Review. In her leisure time, Rebecca enjoys spending time with her pets and watching football.
