Biography

Rebecca Betensky is a Professor of Biostatistics at NYU School of Global Public Health. Her extensive academic background includes a PhD in Statistics from Stanford University and an AB in Mathematics from Harvard University. Previously, Dr. Betensky held prominent positions at Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health as a professor and the director of several programs including the Biostatistics Program and the Data Statistics Core at the Massachusetts Alzheimer's Disease Research Center. Her honors include being elected a Fellow of the American Statistical Association and the International Statistical Institute.
