Rebecca is the UNSW Chair of Intellectual Disability Mental Health at the National Centre of Excellence in Intellectual Disability Health. She is a neuropsychiatrist passionate about improving mental health outcomes for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Rebecca has extensive clinical experience working with people with intellectual disability, families, and advocates, serving in a clinical academic capacity at the South Eastern Sydney Local Health District Mental Health Service. Rebecca is committed to partnering with individuals with lived experiences as well as government and peak bodies within the health and disability sectors, aiming to develop and implement innovative research capacity-building initiatives to improve the mental health of people with cognitive disabilities.
