Biography

Rebecca Lever studied pharmacy at King’s College London, graduating in 1994 with first class honours. After completing a pre-registration training year in hospital pharmacy, she registered in 1995. She then returned to King’s College to undertake a BBSRC-funded PhD in pharmacology, focusing on 'The effect of heparin on leucocyte adhesion and trafficking', supervised by Professor Clive Page, which she completed in 1999. Lever conducted post-doctoral research exploring the anti-inflammatory effects of heparin-related molecules and was appointed to a lectureship at the University College London’s School of Pharmacy in 2002. She has served as a Senior Lecturer in Pharmacology and has a notable background in both research and teaching within the field of pharmacology, contributing significantly to the academic community at UCL.
