Biography

Rebecca Major is an Adjunct Professor in the Department of Political Science at the University of Windsor. She holds a Bachelor of Arts with double honours in History and Indigenous Studies and a Master of Arts in Indigenous Studies focusing on Indigenous land claims. Major is currently a PhD Candidate in Indigenous public policy, specializing in Indigenous-led policy change. She teaches courses on public administration and Indigenous politics, and her research contributions include various publications addressing identity, representation, and the challenges faced by Indigenous communities in Canada.
