Biography

Rebecca L. McLean earned her B.A. in Psychology from Saint Anselm College in 2005, graduating summa cum laude, and her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology with a concentration in Neuropsychology from Suffolk University. She completed her pre-doctoral clinical psychology internship in neuropsychology at Alpert Medical School of Brown University and stayed at Brown to finish her postdoctoral fellowship in pediatric neuropsychology. Dr. McLean specializes as a clinical neuropsychologist at Neuropsychology Partners, focusing on neuropsychological evaluations for children and adolescents with neurodevelopmental, psychological, learning, behavioral, and/or medical conditions. Her research interests include phenotypic aspects of Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), particularly intellectual, language, and executive functioning, as well as medical co-morbidities and the genetic mechanisms underlying ASD. Dr. McLean collaborates with the Rhode Island Consortium for Autism Research and Treatment (RI-CART) in her research endeavors.
