Biography

Rebecca S. Oh received a Ph.D. from the University of Chicago and a B.A. from the University of Virginia. She specializes in postcolonial literature and environmental humanities. Her current book project interrogates ecopolitical failure and aesthetics of complaint in the global South, analyzing how these mediate conceptions of state, citizenship, environmental harm, and futurity. Her research interests span across apocalypse, genre, and infrastructure, particularly within the context of the Anthropocene.
