Renowned jewelry artist Rebecca Strzelec is the Professor and Associate Dean of Academic Programs at the Penny W. Stamps School of Art and Design. She provides operational oversight for undergraduate programs, delivering executive-level leadership on key initiatives to advance the vision and mission of the Stamps School. Before joining Stamps, Strzelec served on the faculty at Penn State Altoona for 21 years as a Distinguished Professor in Visual Arts, where she co-designed the Visual Art Studies degree program. Her artworks have been featured in exhibitions both nationally and internationally, including a recent solo exhibition entitled '365 Grams' at the Baltimore Jewelry Center. Notable recent exhibitions include 'Missed Connections' at Art Produce Gallery in San Diego and 'High Low High' at Heidi Lowe Gallery in Lewes, Delaware. Strzelec’s work is included in the permanent collections of the Museum of Arts and Design and the Fuller Craft Museum, as well as in the private collection of the late Secretary of State Madeleine Albright.
