Biography

Reece Parry is a Nuclear Medicine Specialist with a subspecialty interest in Nuclear Cardiology and cardiac imaging. He is currently a PhD candidate at the University of Western Australia, where he is supervised by Professors Carl Schultz and Roslyn Francis. His PhD research explores the role of cardiovascular PET imaging in relation to coronary vascular inflammation, with a focus on developing methods to identify high-risk patients for future novel therapies. Reece is also a Clinical Lecturer in the UWA School of Medicine, actively involved in the teaching of medical students and junior doctors. Additionally, he holds a position as a Consultant Nuclear Medicine Physician at Perth Radiological Clinic. Reece's academic qualifications include a BSc (Hons) and MBBS from the University of Western Australia and the University of Notre Dame (Australia), respectively. He is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of Physicians and the Australasian Association of Nuclear Medicine Specialists, as well as a member of the Cardiac Society of Australia and New Zealand.
